I’ve realized in the past few months how much joy I found in painting animals. Not just because they’re beautiful, but because they’re family. They hold memories, comfort, personalities, routines. They become such a huge part of our lives.
I’ve shared my life with two cocker spaniels—Chanel and Diesel. Chanel was by my side for nearly 15 years before I lost her to cancer two years ago. There’s no way to fully describe that kind of loss… it leaves a quiet space in your heart that never quite fills again. Diesel is now 16 and still going strong. My sweet old soul, a daily reminder of how precious time really is.
Losing Chanel made me realize something deeply: our memories with them deserve to live on in a way we can see, feel, and hold onto. That’s what led me here, combining my love for detailed painting with the unconditional love we have for our pets. I feel a hand painted portrait holds a special emotion.
Every portrait I create is more than just a painting. It’s a way to honor their spirit, their personality, and the bond that never fades, including memorial pieces that honor the ones we’ve lost but will never stop loving.
Because love like that can’t be replaced… but it can be remembered forever. 🐾

One of my friends recently lost her dog and my usual artist no longer does pet portraits so I was on the search. Sabah posted on this page and her work looked amazing so I chose her for this piece. I gave her a few pictures of Rambo but below is the main one I wanted her to paint and then her painting of him. Needless to say she nailed it. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated once I have your shipping address. High-resolution images are ideal, especially when I need to capture tiny details such as the eyes, nose, fur texture, and unique markings.
Please avoid photos that are heavily blurred, extremely dark, or very small if possible. But don’t worry if your favorite photo isn’t technically perfect — send it to me anyway. Sometimes a meaningful photo that isn’t perfect technically can still be the perfect starting point for a portrait.Yes, absolutely. ❤️

You’ll be able to choose your preferred backdrop color, and I’ll also help you select a color that complements your pet’s fur and makes their features and eyes stand out beautifully.
My portraits primarily focus on the face. Depending on the size of the portrait and the composition, I may also include part of the neck, shoulders, and collar.
I intentionally do not paint the full body or detailed backgrounds. I believe a pet’s portrait should speak volumes through their expression alone — without anything in the background competing for attention.
